Limpopo Province, South Africa: UNICEF: South Africa haults deportations due to Chorlora Epidemic: many children living in dangerous situations

UNICEF, is reporting on South Africa is temporarily halting deportations, and that a show ground in Limpopo province has been converted into an area for humanitarian needs: with Home Affairs: having sent a number of trucks; with computers: in order to process 3-month asylum permissions. Thousands have caught cholera, in Zimbabwe; where it was previously reported that the water supply to Harare was cut off.

South Africa is the main destination for those leaving Zimbabwe for medical help: media was at one stage reporting many deaths among those traveling to South Africa for treatment, and previously, many illegal immigrants from Zimbabwe, had been raped, extorted, or abused in some other way by bandits who prey on illegal crossings.

South Africa continues to supply electricity to Zimbabwe, and to counter efforts at sanctions; Mugabe: plans to set up a Zanu-PF government in February, despite having legally lost the elections: according to the election rules in Zimbabwe (E News Channel).
